My First Silkscreen Print!

After many mistakes, I've finally finished my first hand-pulled, silkscreen print! I taught myself by reading in books and looking online. I started with 40, but ended up with only having 12 excellent prints that I feel comfortable selling. This was a great learning experience and I'm sure my next print will go much smoother. I'm already gearing up for the next one.

Monkey versus Robot

Since I was unable to finish last week's 'dreams' subject for illustration friday. I thought I'd post a possible t-shirt design I was working on.

I'm also working on my first silkscreen print. I screwed up with the emulsion on my screens but I think I've figured out how to do it correctly. I'm waiting for an emulsion spreader in the mail now. I hope to have it finished early next week and have them for sale on my site and local stores here in Charlotte. Wish me luck!
